Description
Well, the fire color got a lot of good comments, so.. I made this one a fire, too ^^
I've been working on a new world to house all of my creatures in... it's all hush hush right now... but later on, I'll put it together
Nayona (Nay-o-na)
Some facts about them:
They're carnivores, so watch your fingers when you pet them ;D
They're covered in velvety soft fur... but again... the carnivore thing...
They can be tamed, but it's recommended that you raise a baby instead.
The color 'fire' is extremely rare because of two things: 1. Two fires have to mate to have another fire. If only one fire is present, then the offspring is gold. 2. Whenever a fire is born, it's normally killed for it's soft, firey colored fur.
Nayonas' shoulders normally are about as high as a 6' tall man's.
They can live up to be about a 100 in captivity, but in the wild, only about 75 due to humans and illness.
Their flesh is very bitter tasting.
They give live birth.
Two nayonas mate for life. If one dies, then the other will remain single for the rest of it's life.
Baby nayonas are called pups. Not puppies... just pups.
Only the male nayonas have dewclaws. (The little claw on the wrist)
I've written a few stories with nayonas in them, so I needed to know some of this stuff ^_^ Plus, I get bored during classes...
Nayonas © to me. If you'd like to draw them, then please ask first. I always adore fanart, though

very lovely creature, so original!! And the facts are interesting, enough in its own to win ;] I hope you do win, I voted for your entry :] I might do some fan art at one point, something semi related to your creature, just too beautiful <3
